July 4th, McKinney
The city celebrates the Fourth of July with family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a fireworks show. The event begins with a parade and a classic car, truck, and cycle show downtown. Fireworks follow at 7 p.m. at Craig Ranch.
Red, White, and Boom! Parade – 10 a.m.
Yankee Doodle Block Party – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Car Show – 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
July 4th, Frisco Square
CFRISCOFEST_elebrate Independence Day with a patriotic Party in the Plaza, live music, a Children’s Expo, and more. Other fun attractions include Taste of Frisco, an FC Dallas soccer game, and a big fireworks display at approximately 10 p.m.

Hotter ‘n Firecrackers 5K Glow Run / Dachshund Dash
July 3rd, Frisco Square
Runners wearing flashing LED lights and bright fluorescent gear will light at night in this 5K Glow Run. The run begins at 9 p.m.
As a warm-up to the Hotter ‘N Firecrackers 5k Run, dachshunds will race to earn fantastic doggie prizes in the Dachshund Dash. It’s fun to watch and the $10 entry fee benefits the Collin County Animal Shelter.dachshund_dash

Plano Lions Independence Day Parade
July 4th, Plano ISD Admin Bldg
Flags, floats, marching bands, drill teams, cheer squads and so much more. Celebrate Independence Day at this annual holiday parade. The parade starts in the parking lot of the Plano ISD administration building. It will travel west on 15th Street, then north on Independence, east on Parkhaven ending in the parking lot of Plano Senior High School. The parade runs from 9-11 a.m.

July 4th, Wayne Ferguson Plaza
Free family concert series in Old Town Lewisville celebrates on July 4 at 7:00 pm with an extended lineup: Petty Theft, a Tom Petty tribute, Country singer/songwriter Abbi Walker, Rhythm N’ Boots, the 36th Infantry Division R&B Band.
Plano’s All-American Fourth Fireworks
July 4th, Amphitheater at Oak Point Park
Cap your July 4th celebrations with a big bang at Plano’s All-American Fourth Fireworks at Oak Point Park. The fireworks show is synchronized to music, so tune into radio station 97.5 KLAK for a live simulcast. Come early to get a great spot for this spectacular pyrotechnic show. It’s FREE and plenty of parking is available at Collin College, Plano Event Center, and First United Methodist Church. Spring Creek Parkway will be closed between Parker and Jupiter Roads from 4 pm until the end of the show. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and celebrate Independence Day.
5:00 pm – Enjoy dining with a variety of food trucks on-site
7:30 pm – Pre-fireworks music with live DJ
9:30 pm – Stupendous Fireworks Show with live music simulcast on 97.5 KLAK
